Information on data protection

We would like to point out that we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection declaration. As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. Quick electronic contact with us as well as direct communication with us are made possible by the general address of the so-called electronic mail (e-mail address) and the contact form. If you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, your transmitted personal data will automatically be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry or establishing contact. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. The data accruing in this context will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your inquiry has been completed). Information you share with us when you use the GADI platform:

  • Account Information: When you send us an email or contact us via the contact form, we require certain information such as your name, email address, and phone number, if applicable.
  • Profile Information: in order to perform certain functions of GADI and to participate in certain projects, we may also ask you to complete a profile which may include your skills and qualifications, professional activities, personal details, academic CV, professional aptitude, work experience, membership of professional committees, current employment information, picture taking, and gender.
  • Profile Information: If you are an active user with executive functions, you may consent to certain parts of your profile (such as your profile picture, first name, and qualifications) being publicly visible to others and allowing interested parties to contact you directly.
  • Other information: You can also give us other information when you fill in a form, do a search, respond to surveys, and post on the community forum.

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address, and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. 

Recording of general data, specific data, and information through the use of our website

Privacy policy for use in video conferencing, online meetings, webinars, virtual trade fairs, and screen sharing

We use platforms and applications of other providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) for the purpose of conducting (video) conferences, webinars, virtual trade fairs, and other types of online meetings. When selecting our third-party providers and their services, we observe the legal requirements. In this context, the data of the participants are processed and stored on the servers of our third-party providers, insofar as these are part of our communication processes with us. This data may include, in particular, registration and contact data, visual and vocal contributions as well as entries in chats, surveys, and shared screen contents.
